The Classic and System Pro M products cannot be mixed and do not share common accessories. Products from the System Pro M series can only be mounted in innovative Protecta distribution boxes. ABB System Pro M Compact S200 single-pole Type C 6 kA. ABB System Pro M Compact S200M miniature circuit breakers are current-limiting. They feature two different tripping mechanisms: a delayed thermal tripping mechanism for overload protection and an electromechanical tripping mechanism for short-circuit protection. All MCBs in the S200M product line comply with IEC/EN 60898-1 and IEC/EN 60947-2, making them suitable for use in residential, commercial, and industrial applications. A lower auxiliary contact can be mounted on S200M to save 50% space.

Features and Benefits:

  • Extra wide and complete range of MCBs for most applications and markets
  • Space and time savings through the unique bottom mounting auxiliary contact
  • Compliance with global standards
  • Suitable for residential installations or small commercial systems up to 6 kA switching capacity

Standards:

  • IEC 60898: Relates to low-voltage circuit breakers for use in households and similar installations, traditionally known in the UK as protective circuit breakers.
  • IEC 60947-2: Relates to low-voltage circuit breakers for use in industry and similar installations, traditionally known in the UK as compact circuit breakers and also as open circuit breakers.

Question: What is the tripping curve C?
Answer: Curve C: Tripping: 5 to 10 times the rated current. Applications: Protection of circuits and general applications.
