The microprocessor-controlled, rechargeable bendable head flashlight, model HL 25 EX, made of impact-resistant, non-flammable plastic (ABS-V0), has been tested according to Directive 94/9/EC ATEX and relevant EMC regulations and has vehicle approval. The flashlight is equipped with two switchable high-performance LEDs: a 3-watt Power Cree LED with a focused beam for long-range and a 1-watt Power Cree LED with a wide beam for close-range. The environmentally friendly lithium-ion battery, which has no memory effect, is protected against deep discharge due to the intelligent circuit layout and can be continuously charged. This battery can be replaced by the user. With its 4-stage adjustable light head, the flashlight is versatile in use. It can also be attached to protective clothing using a clip. The HL 25 EX can operate in continuous and flashing modes and can be used as a warning light. It also functions as an emergency light according to VDE 0108, which can be disabled by the customer. Weighing only 430 g, the HL 25 EX is at the top of comparable handheld flashlights. The design complies with DIN 14649.
