The C13 to C14 power cord can be used for extending a C13 power cable and for connecting PDUs (Power Distribution Units) in data centers.

The application of an LSZH (Low Smoke Zero Halogen) cable jacket reduces the risk of high concentrations of toxic gases in case the cable is damaged due to fire or short circuit.
