The Alu AlMg 4.5Mn welding wire from Alunox is a high-quality product specifically designed for TIG and MIG welding of aluminum alloys. With a standard designation according to EN ISO 18273: S Al 5183 (AI Mg 4.5 Mn), this welding wire offers excellent welding quality and is ideal for applications where corrosion resistance is required. The weld metal is seawater-resistant, making it an ideal choice for maritime applications. To achieve optimal results, the workpiece edges should be thoroughly cleaned, and thick plates should be preheated to 150 °C. The welding wire has a diameter of 1.2 mm and is available in a convenient 1000 g spool, making it suitable for various welding projects.
