This combination of a toggle switch and a socket with protective contact and flap cover is protected according to IP55. It is suitable for vertical mounting, with the toggle switch and socket being connectable separately. Installation is done using terminal blocks, with an entry for two wires and an entry for either a wire or a conduit. A full-area seal under the housing base ensures the sealing of the rear of the housing. The flap cover closes flush and locks manually to achieve the protection degree IP55. The housings feature easily accessible, funnel-shaped mounting holes. A Wago 2-wire connection terminal for wiring is included, as well as two snap-in places for Wago 2-wire connection terminals in the housing base. There is ample space for wiring under the bases of the inserts (hollow base), and the installation of the insert in the housing is easily done by snapping in. The frame is securely fixed to the housing via a bayonet quick-release mechanism. The connection terminals comply with VDE 0620 and the design standard DIN 49440. Housing screws and flap cover springs are made of stainless steel. Installation is done as surface-mounted installation. Material: plastic, thermoplastic, impact-resistant.
