When heat is applied, the tubing completely envelops the grip and shrinks. This protects the grip from weather influences and mechanical damage.
Application of shrink tubing:
The shrink tubing can be heated with a heat gun. During this process, the tubing shrinks at a rate of 2:1, reducing to half its original diameter when heated.
