The speed preselection can be adjusted via a dial in 15 stages, allowing for rotation speeds to be varied from 600 to 3500 min-1. The rotary sander is equipped with a no-voltage switch; in the event of a power failure, this prevents the machine from starting uncontrollably. The housing is almost entirely surrounded by rubber, reducing the risk of damaging the workpiece being treated.
