The doorbell is an ideal addition to any DoorBird intercom. It can be flexibly mounted on a wall or ceiling inside the house. The connection of the doorbell to the network can be made via Wi-Fi or network cable. When connected via network cable, it can also be conveniently powered using Power-over-Ethernet (PoE). In addition to volume control and a variety of ringtones, time periods can be set during which the doorbell should be active. A DoorBird intercom can be paired with an unlimited number of doorbells, and the doorbell also supports any number of intercoms. For each intercom, a unique ringtone profile can be created in the doorbell. The doorbell can also operate solely over the local network (LAN), for example, if the internet is temporarily down. Additionally, a floor call button can be connected to the doorbell via a two-wire line, and a custom ringtone profile can be assigned for this as well. This way, the resident always knows immediately whether someone is ringing at the front door or their apartment door.
