The bus coupler FBA14 can connect various bus components as well as supply power. Bus components on different mounting rails or in other distribution boxes or switch cabinets are connected with one FBA14 and a 4-wire shielded bus cable, such as a telephone line. The total length of all connection cables should not exceed 100 m, and a 9 mm wide second termination resistor, which is included with the FAM14 or FTS14KS, must be connected to the last actuator. The position of the bus coupler in a device row of series 14 is arbitrary.
