DALI LED dimmer for independent control of brightness and color temperature. Suitable for recessed lighting and junction boxes. Standby power loss is only 0.12 watts. Designed to control constant voltage LED modules (CV) with operating voltages from 12 V to 48 V.

Operating mode DT8: Control of brightness and color temperature via a DALI address (Device Type 8, Colour Type Tc). Operating mode Balance&Dim: Control via 2 DALI addresses, one for adjusting brightness and the other for adjusting channel distribution (e.g., color temperature). Operating mode Dim2Warm: one DALI address for dimming while simultaneously changing the color temperature.

SwitchDim2: Operation via 2 push-button inputs allows control of brightness and color temperature without DALI. Dimming range 0.1% - 100%. Switchable PWM frequency (122 Hz/244 Hz/488 Hz/976 Hz). Supply voltage depending on type from 12 V to 28 V DC or 12 V to 48 V DC (according to the operating voltage of the LED modules). Connection current 8 A. The maximum connection current can be distributed across the channels as needed. High efficiency.

Configuration via PC software DALI-Cockpit and DALI-USB interface. Operating modes: The device features several operating modes: DT8 (default state): In this mode, a DALI address (Device Type 8, Colour Type Tc) is used to control brightness and color temperature. Alternatively, operation can also be done via two push-button inputs (SwitchDim2): SwD1: Brightness. Short press: On/Off. Long press: Dimming. SwD2: Color temperature.

Balance&Dim: Control is done via 2 DALI addresses (or SwitchDim2), with one address used for dimming and the other for channel distribution (i.e., Tunable White or direct/indirect lighting distribution). The Balance&Dim mode allows adjustment of color temperature without affecting brightness and vice versa. Adjustments are made using DALI standard commands such as Dim Up/Down and can thus be used with all common controls and gateways.
