The wireless outdoor motion detector IP55 quicklink is suitable for surface mounting and operates in the 868 MHz range with quicklink radio or can be integrated into the KNX-TP system via a KNX radio media coupler. The tool-free quicklink push-button mode is activated via a configuration button with LED display. Power is supplied by the included three AAA LR03 1.5V batteries, with the configuration retained during battery replacement. The motion detector is used for lighting control in commercial buildings and residential homes by detecting moving persons. The detection range is 220° with anti-creep protection for local detection and a maximum range of 16 m at a recommended mounting height of approximately 2.5 m. A horizontal lens adjustment of +/- 80° and a vertical lens adjustment of +90°/-30° are possible. Detection is achieved using Fresnel lenses. The monitoring area can be limited using the included masks. The adjustment of the time delay and brightness value can be done directly on the device or via an optional remote control or through KNX objects. Sensitivity can be set from 20% to 100%. Mounting on walls and ceilings is possible, as well as in corners with an optional mounting adapter.
