Due to the external serration, the smooth side of the cable tie lies on the bundled goods. Possible scoring or damage to the bundled goods is avoided. This design enables particularly easy looping with excellent holding force. The head is significantly less bulky than comparable types. This means that secure installation is possible even where space is limited. A recess in the head accommodates the strap when installed, ensuring a straight contact surface and optimum hold.
