Hard water contains dissolved minerals, including calcium and magnesium compounds. Calcium and magnesium ions cause limescale deposits that can damage your appliances and utensils. Water softening removes the calcium and magnesium compounds responsible for water hardness. As the water passes through the resin column, calcium and magnesium ions are absorbed by the resin particles. When the ion exchange capacity of the resin diminishes, it should be regenerated using a salt solution. Water softeners can be installed anywhere the water temperature is below 45 °C and the water pressure does not exceed 2 bar. For regeneration, only use non-iodized salt. Suitable for drinking water only. Thanks to the high-quality materials used, the device remains reliable and operational for many years. Optimal working water pressure: 1-2 bar.
