The ULTRASONIC XL 800 effectively repels mice, rats, and other pesky animals and pests. Laboratory analyses have shown that the ultrasonic waves disrupt the hearing and nervous systems of the most common pests, causing them discomfort. At approximately 95 dB +/- 10%, the sound pressure causes pests and vermin to abandon their search for food, water, and shelter and move on. Additionally, the bright built-in LED light of the ULTRASONIC XL 800 startles the animals at night, causing them to flee.
