Mersen aM and gG fuse inserts cover a wide range of sizes and current ratings for 400, 500, and 690 VAC. They are used for the protection of electrical distribution circuits and industrial systems. A large portion of the current ratings is available in sizes 8x31 and 10x38 optionally with a signaling device, and in sizes 14x51 and 22x58 optionally with a striker pin for triggering an auxiliary contact. All cylindrical fuse inserts consist of a ceramic body and silver-plated contacts. Cylindrical fuse inserts of the gG operating class are used to protect lines, devices, and systems. They safely disconnect excessive overloads and short-circuit currents up to the rated cutoff current. gG cylindrical fuse inserts also protect electrical devices and systems from the electrodynamic effects of high short-circuit currents. Our technology and manufacturing process ensure highly reliable technical performance.
