The Oximiser 900 can be permanently connected to ensure long-term battery maintenance. It is suitable for most 12V battery types up to 30Ah, including gel, MF, and acid batteries. Heavily discharged batteries down to 4.1V can be charged, provided the battery is not damaged. Not for use with lithium batteries.
6-Stage Battery Management System:
- Polarity Check: Verifies that the battery cables are correctly connected.
- Battery Analysis: Assesses the battery and determines the best charging method.
- Bulk Fast Charge: Charges at a rapid rate to bring the battery to about 85% capacity.
- Absorption Charge: Reduces the charging rate and provides a top charge to ensure the battery is fully charged.
- Voltage Check: Hourly voltage checks assess the condition of the battery.
- Maintenance Mode: Applies an appropriate charge when the voltage falls outside acceptable limits to ensure that the battery voltage and condition remain optimal.
