The Solarline generator connection boxes (GAKs) are used in both small rooftop systems and large ground-mounted installations. The main tasks of the GAKs are to provide surge protection for the PV system, potentially collect strings, and loop the protective equipotential bonding conductor to the local equipotential bonding.
