28mm is wrong. I have sent the umbrella back because the diameter is approx. 32mm. It would be nice if Galaxus.ch would correct this...

It has a two piece pole, but the lower part is not very sharp. It works well with a separate spike like the Doppler Lawn spike. On the beach I use a Krinner Vario Drill, which works very well, but I don't think it would be so good for a lawn.
