Lotus Grill original requires batteries. But for Lotus grill with USB has an option to be powered by a power bank in case you run out of batteries. It has 2 options to run the Lotus grill - USB Powerbank and batteries

Had exactly the same problem, after contacting support the grill was replaced. It seems that the fan is a weak point. The new grill now works :-)
Hello D.h. Unfortunately, I can't tell you exactly either! Galaxus or the manufacturer would have to tell you. What I have noticed myself on Galaxus is that the different colours seem to have different prices. Colours that run better and are produced in higher numbers seem to be offered at a lower price. In addition, the cheaper models have an additional USB port (as an alternative to battery operation) for the fan. I cannot explain why this additional functionality is cheaper. Perhaps they are different product generations. In terms of weight (both 3.70 kg), there are no other differences, so they are probably identical. The grill works very well and is also recommendable for 2-3 people for the lower price. So why pay more ;-)

It doesn't seem to be on sale at the moment. But other fuel pastes such as Kaltenbach Brennpaste 1.0Liter also work.
