Weber offers original conversion sets as accessories to operate this barbecue with an external gas bottle.
The Q1200 requires a footprint of 45 x 25 cm (minimum, measured from the outermost edges of the feet). I have an appropriate barbecue table made of chrome steel with castors from a Swedish furniture store. It has a practical drawer and is non-flammable (the gas bottle should not be placed under the grill).
