Robust charging station for electric vehicles with Type 2 charging connector, especially for Tesla brand. The charging station allows a charging power of up to 11 kW (16 A/400 V). The charging current can be adjusted via the display in 1-ampere increments between 6 A and 16 A. The permanently attached cable has a length of 5 m and features a Type 2 plug with an integrated charge port opener for Tesla vehicles. The display shows the energy consumed so far and the current charging parameters such as current and voltage. Thanks to the integrated DC fault current detection, an expensive Type B residual current device in the supply line can be omitted.
