The four-part guide rail of the DRIVE Actions is mounted to the ceiling and is made of galvanized, torsion-resistant steel. Additionally, the sliding carriage located in the guide rail is connected to the door arm, the angle attached to the door, and the drive chain.

When the garage door opener is activated, the motor adjusts to the existing garage door and automatically adapts the force setting with each operation. Upon reaching the set endpoints, the motor switches off precisely through electronic path detection. The motor head is mounted on a galvanized steel plate, which provides additional stability. The control panel and other connection options are hidden inside the light cover. The connections can be used, for example, for separate lighting or a personnel door contact. An energy-saving LED light is already integrated into the motor head. The lighting automatically switches off three minutes after the opener is operated or can be manually turned on or off independently of the garage door opener using the remote control.

In the development of all Schellenberg garage door openers, great emphasis is placed on safety. Therefore, all garage door opener models feature automatic obstacle detection, motor overheating protection, an interior emergency release, and secure radio transmission. The radio operates at 433.92 MHz and is secured with a so-called rolling code, making it more difficult for unauthorized individuals to intercept the radio signal. In the event of a power outage, the programming of the DRIVE Actions is retained.
