TPCDIO17 is an output module designed as reporting accessory. This functional module serves as a auxiliary contact for the engine start and alarm signal. The rated operational current (Ie) is 5A at 250VAC/30VDC. The start signal prevents dry cranking of the motor by prompting the unit to reach the correct performance level. It can operate for the duration of the cooling setting when the normal source is restored and the load is returned to normal conditions. The alarm signal output notifies the user in the event of a critical alarm, including phase rotation, transmission error, microswitch fully closed, and internal error. The capacitor is responsible for the time delay of the motor start, which runs before the unit starts, regardless of whether there is external 24VDC or not.
