The SIRIUS 3RW30 soft starter is designed for standard applications for the gentle start of three-phase asynchronous motors. It allows for stepless starting, reduces current peaks, avoids voltage fluctuations in the network during startup, relieves the power supply network, and decreases mechanical stress on the drive. Additionally, it offers significant space and wiring savings compared to star-delta starters and frequency converters, is maintenance-free, and easy to handle. The integrated bypass ensures a compact design and lower heating in the control cabinet. The soft starter has worldwide approvals, such as IEC and UL/CSA. The 3RW soft starters are available for networks up to 690 V across a wide power range with different control supply voltages and are consistently equipped with screw and spring terminals.
