Siemens Dig.Industr. Ultrasonic Sensor 7ML1123-0BA50: Additional Details
The sensors are flood-proof, resistant to steam and aggressive chemicals, and can be installed without a flange. The XPS series offers versions for various measuring ranges up to 40 m and a maximum temperature of +95 °C. For applications with high temperatures, the XCT series can be used. It measures levels in ranges up to 12 m and temperatures of up to +145 °C. During operation, the ultrasonic sensors Echomax emit acoustic pulses in a narrow sound cone. The level measuring transducer measures the time it takes for the pulse to travel to the material and back, calculating the distance from the sensor to the material.
