The special tool steel is hardened using a unique Swiss manufacturing technique. Thanks to a patented Magic Spring, the spring force in Weller Erem cutters and pliers is guaranteed to remain constant for at least 1 million closing cycles. The Weller Erem cut provides a smooth cut without overlapping the jaws, thanks to a special screw system in the cutting head. For optimal results, Weller Erem offers three possible cutting shapes as well as specially hand-ground cutting edges.

Only the best material: exceptionally long service life due to a very high hardness (Rockwell hardness scale 63–65 HRc) and no signs of fatigue in the hand. The EMOS opening stop limits the opening and thus facilitates work. All Weller Erem cutters and pliers are ESD-safe. The jaws of the pliers are ground with the highest precision.
