The optimum application for the two Mercury MRW104 and MRW84 subwoofers is in the bass reflex or bandpass range. The fact that the woofers require relatively small volumes means that several subwoofers can be used. For example, an MRW84 in a 20 litre bass reflex enclosure already achieves an extremely low lower cut-off frequency (-3 dB) of 32 Hz.
