3. Homematic IP Sectional view Electricity meter HmIP-ESI-LED

Homematic IP LED Interface for Digital Power Meters

Smartly monitor and utilize the power consumption from sub-meters. With the Homematic IP LED interface for digital
power meters, you are always informed about the electricity consumption in your home or the feed-in values of your PV system. The interface allows you to keep track of the power consumption of areas in your home where you have installed a sub-meter. Additionally, the electricity fed in from a PV system can be recorded with the LED interface at the respective sub-meter. The data from the sub-meter is displayed in real-time and retrospectively via the Homematic IP app, and the use of the measurement values for smart scenarios is also possible.

Installation

The Homematic IP interface is easily attached to the designated position on the sub-meter with the reading head. The connection can be removed without leaving any residue, making it suitable for rental apartments as well. Afterwards, the interface is integrated into the smart home system via the Homematic IP app – done!

Read Power Consumption via Smartphone

All recorded consumption data from the Homematic IP interface for digital meters is fully transferred to the Homematic IP app. This allows you to easily read the current and past electricity consumption at any time. All meter readings and the current power output are transmitted. A smart highlight: By continuously measuring the power values, any smart scenarios can be triggered. If the Homematic IP interface for digital power meters detects that electricity is being fed in from a PV system, this produced electricity can be effectively utilized with a connected Homematic IP actuator.

10. my-PV Three-phase energy meter

3-phase measuring transformer for my-PV devices. Clamp current transformer for the simplest measurement capture and high installation comfort. Also suitable for large connection capacities in commercial applications. Wireless communication via WLAN. Measurement range: 0 - 75 A (higher currents can be measured with optional clamp transformers). Protection class: IP51. Dimensions: 90.2 x 71 x 57.5 mm. The my-PV Wifi Meter analyzes the current flows of the PV system. It transmits information about surplus power to the router via WLAN. This ensures that only the energy available at the moment is used for heat generation. Therefore, there is no feeding into the power grid: self-consumption of the PV system is maximized, relieving the public low-voltage network. The my-PV Wifi Meter is installed directly after the energy supplier's meter in the distribution cabinet and measures the load flow through three external clamp current transformers. The my-PV WiFi Meter comes standard with integrated 75 A current transformers. The new my-PV WiFi Meter no longer requires an Ethernet cable (LAN) and can be integrated into the home network via WLAN. This offers the advantage that connections from the meter cabinet to the router can now be established wirelessly. To ensure that signals from the meter cabinet, which is usually made of metal, can be transmitted and reach the desired target, an antenna with a 1 m cable is also included as standard. The functionality and view in the my-PV.LIVE Cloud remain the same as with the previous my-PV Power Meter. This offers the advantage that the transition for the customer is barely noticeable. We also see the new my-PV WiFi Meter as a guardian of the current flows of the photovoltaic system, ensuring everything runs optimally.
