Probably not, the seat is quite straight. With our little one it still worked somehow, but his head also hung forwards from time to time.

My little one usually sleeps in it with his head backwards, but occasionally he also slides forwards. I wouldn't use the seat (especially for longer journeys) unless someone can sit next to it and keep an eye on the head position.
