Question about TomTom GO 620 World
Do the TMC messages still work without a smartphone, with a transmitter on the cable as with older devices, or only with smartphone pairing?

TMC with this TOMTOM device works perfectly in Switzerland. In the USA it works fine too, but the reception takes much longer and the traffic jam messages do not contain any waiting times.
The receiver is in the charging cable and the TomTom recognises it. Unfortunately, I cannot say whether the receiver works because I always have my smartphone connected.
