I bought it for my wife, but since it's in the middle of the bathroom, I also use it because it turns itself on when you get too close. The battery lasts a long time and the part is very bright, I think. I don't know anything about the lux rating and the number of LEDs. I find the magnification factor almost too high, but that's probably to do with my farsightedness.
