Question about Castrol Edge Titanium
Hello everyone, until now I always had Castrol 5w30 LongLife for my Skoda Octavia VW 504 00 / 507 00. Since I have a high oil wear, I want to change to 5w40! is this recommended? the specs ACEA C3 are the same, Full Syntetic it is also....es just does not correspond to VW 504 00...........mixing this oil should not be a problem?!? what do YOU think? I did the same with my Audi. It's not a problem, but unfortunately the fuel consumption didn't drop noticeably. The addition of Bar's Motor Oil Stop had a greater effect, but that was not sustainable either...
