I can no longer move the reset pin as soon as a code other than 0000 is set, not even by applying force. If I turn the code back to 0000, I can move the reset pin again. Is there a solution for this or does the product have to go in the bin unused?

The behaviour is design-related and not a defect: With the Burg-Wächter Key Safe 10 SB, the reset pin can only be moved when the code "0000" is set. This is a security function so that the code cannot be changed while another code is active. Solution: Set the code correctly to 0000, open the safe, move the reset pin (to the reset position), set the desired new code and then return the reset pin to its original position. Never use force, as this can damage the mechanism.
