I'm looking for a car seat that complies with the standard, so that I can lie down a bit if my child is asleep. However, I can't find one that I could use with the 5-point attachments for large children (17 kg and over). Are the straps big enough to still use them this way?

My daughter (16 almost 17kg) was in the seat until 2 weeks ago and had enough space, would have been enough for longer. So I think yes for sure.
