It could be. I know Ledvance lamps do that when they were already detected and registered by the app and then later for some reason, which I never understood, the lamp looses the registration. Is it possible that the wifi signal is very weak where your plug is? Try to put it closer the the wifi router to test if that's the problem.

Didn't have this problem. Reset everything and try pairing again.
