I use this plug with the Philips HUE APP. I have not experienced any problems so far!

This plug does NOT work in Switzerland and digitec had assured me a good year ago that they would remove the product from their range. It has a German plug but cannot be used with an adapter. So fingers off the thing no matter if it could google or homekit.... it's better to look at myStrom.
