Product details
The Azulejos (originally blue and white ceramic tiles) introduced by the Moors were adopted by the Portuguese when their King Manuel I was captivated by the stunning beauty of the Moorish decorative tiles during a visit to the Alhambra Palace in southern Spain. Impressed by the splendor of the Alhambra's interior, the king immediately ordered the decoration of his palace in Portugal with similar tiles. In this abstract game, you are a ceramic artist tasked with decorating the walls of the royal palace of Evora. Throughout the game, you must strategically select various tiles to create a beautiful mosaic on your personal game board. You will earn points based on the placement of the different tiles, also in relation to specific patterns, and you will be penalized for advanced tiles. The objective of the game is to be the player with the most points at the end. The game concludes after the round in which at least one player has completed a horizontal line of 5 consecutive game pieces on their wall. This version has been directly localized and edited by Asmodee Italia. Contents: 100 resin tiles, 4 player boards, 9 tray tiles, 4 scoring boards, 1 first player tile, 1 fabric bag, 1 rulebook.
