Printing variant of the iconic locomotive BR 118 in the design of E 18 of the DR from Era III. The PIKO model impresses with its faithful representation of the original Bundesbahn machine. Notable features include the fine wheelsets, the precise reproduction of the prototype roof equipment with delicate pantographs, and the accurate depiction of the front sections. The cab and engine room lighting, as well as the direction-dependent functioning front and rear lights, are digitally switchable with a PluX22 decoder. The model, equipped with a zinc die-cast frame, offers excellent running characteristics and high pulling power. It is prepared for retrofitting with sound and the largest possible speaker on the tidy circuit board with a PluX22 interface.
