Piko H0 Supplementary car BR 412 ICE 4 of the DB
Track H0Product details
2-piece set of supplementary cars for the PIKO ICE 4 of DB AG Ep. VI. In 2011, Deutsche Bahn AG commissioned Siemens Mobility to build up to 300 new high-speed trains for use in Germany, Austria, and Switzerland. The new trainsets of the BR 412/812, developed jointly by Siemens and Bombardier, are powered by several cars known as powercars. The train configuration includes various modular units ranging from five-part to 14-part trains. This concept allows the train to be easily adapted to the individual requirements of transport companies regarding desired acceleration, speed, and number of seats. To date, DB has ordered a base configuration of 85 twelve-part and 45 seven-part trainsets, which consist of non-powered end or control cars, powered seating cars, and onboard bistros, as well as non-powered seating, dining, and service cars. The seven-part trainset features three.
