    Good intuitive children's tablet

Our kids have not had access to tablets before. However, we noticed that more and more in kindergarten also work with tablets. We have only ordered this one for now. We already think that it is suitable for 4-6 year olds. From 6 years, the applications are probably almost too simple for the children. The pre-installed app games also contain educational content. We think that's good. The parental control is a bit of a "joke". Because the grips on the entire device. That is, not even as a parent you can then still access it. So you can also not define the different users different "screen times". The Kid Connect app (messaging app) is rather sluggish. And the kid doesn't see any sign of incoming message while accessing his user profile. Not a noticeable one, anyway. We are now letting both kids use the tablet extensively and find it sufficient at this stage. The pre-installed app games also offer something for a long time. We have not seen any reason to buy more games. You can either buy "cassettes" or download more games in the parent control. From school entry, we will probably switch to the Amazon Fire Kids for the older child. Precisely because we want to install Anton and the like.

    Pro

    • Apps do not need constant internet access
    • The games are guided spoken
    • Pre-installed apps are sufficient for a very long time
    • Creation of multiple users
    • Sufficient battery life
    • You can also buy additional games to "plug in" to the device.
    • Home and Return button are on the tablet edge (buttons) - gross motor friendly.
    • Painting app "Kunstwerkstatt offers a lot (e.g. a picture paint by numbers).
    • E-book has a dictionary function which explains words. And reads aloud.

    Contra

    • Time control applies to the whole device
    • Camera
    • Kid Connect App shows bad new messages
    • You can't install "Anton" on it for example
