The Stegosaurus is recognizable from afar, and not just because of its massive size: its fiery red double row of curved bony plates on its back is unmistakable. This creates a beautiful contrast with its yellowish lizard skin. With its head lowered, it trudges across the meadows, keeping its long tail slightly raised. It’s probably busy grazing again.
