The race car Lightning McQueen is on his way to the Piston Cup when he falls out of the transporter and ends up in the small, sleepy desert town of Radiator Springs. In the process, he creates a big mess that he must clean up before he can continue on his journey. Annoyed, he gets to work and wants to leave this sleepy place as soon as possible. However, he soon realizes that Radiator Springs and its residents have more to offer than he initially thought.
