This optimal inhalation device effectively delivers medication to the target organ, with an average particle size (MMAD) of 2.9 micrometers, allowing drug treatment to reach the lower respiratory tract. The respirable fraction is a percentage of particles of the required size in inhaled aerosol, and the nebulizer produces aerosol with 71.1 percent of particles smaller than 5 micrometers, making it effective in delivering medication to the lungs and reaching the alveoli.
