To measure the temperature, simply point the laser beam at the pizza stone or another surface. You can then read the surface temperature on the digital display within a very short time. The great advantage of the infrared thermometer is that the temperature is measured completely contact-free from a safe distance from the hot pizza stone, so there is no risk of burning.
