Nipples are as different as people are, they come in all shapes and sizes, and in addition to nipples pointing outwards there are also flat or inward (inverted) nipples. With flat or inverted nipples, breastfeeding and especially putting on the baby can be a bit more difficult and may need some help. The Haakaa silicone nipple formers are shaped to gently pull flat or inverted nipples outwards with a light sucking action - making it easy for your baby to put them on. Simply place the nipple former on your nipples before breastfeeding and press the tip slightly in to create a slight suction.
