Indications:
Acute wounds (e.g., burns, abrasions, traumatic wounds, postoperative wounds) and chronic wounds (e.g., leg ulcers, pressure ulcers, diabetic foot ulcers) as well as wounds resulting from the genetic disorder epidermolysis bullosa. Due to its flexibility and excellent adaptability, UrgoTül is particularly suitable for covering irregular wounds, treating difficult locations, and tamponading deep wounds.

Application:

• UrgoTül can be cut with sterile scissors to adjust the size of the dressing to the wound.

• UrgoTül is covered with a suitable secondary dressing depending on the amount of exudate (e.g., sterile gauze pads or UrgoSuperabsorber) and secured with an elastic bandage (e.g., Urgomull adhesive latex-free), a stretchable plaster (e.g., Urgoderm Stretch), or a tubular bandage (e.g., Urgotube).

• Wear time is 2 to 4 days.
