I just read in the instruction manual that the ER-GK80 should NOT be used on scalp hair or beard.... Why? Does anyone have experience of using this clipper on head and beard hair? What do I risk if I use this part anyway (and bought it for this purpose) for head/beard hair?

I bought this to shave my beard and parts of my head hair. I'm very happy with it and I couldn't tell you any problems with it. Thanks to the design, you can also trim the hair on the back of your neck. Have fun with it :)
