Is the price really that high? That can't be. The predecessors were already far too expensive and the IOS app from version 8 onwards is also very bad.

Yes, it is very expensive for a toothbrush, but it is of super quality and has excellent performance. If you don't like the app, I would recommend a much cheaper toothbrush without a lot of bells and whistles, but also with good performance and a smart function: Oral-B Pro 2 2000s
