Digitus

High-quality cables provide an excellent solution for fiber optic connections in the designated network level 4. Installation is made easier with pre-terminated connectors for all 4 fibers at one end of the cable.

- Significantly reduces installation time
- Pre-terminated on one side with LC/APC connectors
- The open end can be easily pulled in or connected to the building distribution point
- G.657A2 bend optimized
- Stable pulling loop for routing the cable in conduit systems

The growing demand for the expansion of fiber optic networks into homes requires products that enable simple and efficient installation for network realization. The Digitus cable offers the possibility to easily expand and complete the fiber optic network within the home. The cable is designed for use as a connection line between the building distribution point and the floor distribution point or subscriber termination point in network level 4. The straightforward installation is due to the fact that the cable is pre-terminated on the subscriber side and open with LC/APC connectors, allowing it to be routed through a conduit to the distribution point, which serves as the entry point for the fiber optic network in the building.

Key specifications

Cable colour

Patch cable type

The cable type, describes the structure of a network cable. Fiber optic cables are suitable for distribution over longer distances (up to 80 km) and are resistant to interference. Copper cables can be used for distances up to 100 m and are cheaper to purchase.

Fibre type

The glazier type is divided into multi mode and single mode. Single mode cables are characterized by the higher possible bandwidth and greater distances that they can bridge. Multi Mode cables are easier to manufacture, offer simpler connection technology due to the larger core diameter and are used within buildings or floors.
