FUJIFILM expands the XF lens series with the new FUJINON XF50mmF2 R WR. The compact and light lens offers a focal length of 76mm (equivalent to 35mm format) and a large aperture of F2 for an attractive
bokeh. The XF50mmF2 R WR together with the XF35mmF2 R WR and the XF23mmF2 R WR form an own product line within the XF series. All three lenses are remarkably handy and have the same high-quality design features. They are particularly suitable for the X-Pro2 rangefinder camera because their compact tube does not protrude into the optical viewfinder image.
Weighing only 200 grams, the lens is pleasantly light. The tube is weatherproofed at ten points and protected against the penetration of splash water and dust.
Autofocus is based on an internal focusing system in which only the light lens groups are moved in the middle of the lens. Like the other models, the XF50mmF2 is largely made of metal, which makes it both robust and durable, but also contributes to its stylish appearance.
